About the Author
Tom Slowinski (33 years old) lives in Adelaide with his wife and 2 young daughters. He was diagnosed with Stage 3 Bowel Cancer when he was 28 for which he underwent surgery to remove 30cm of his bowel and 6 months of chemotherapy. His sickness led him to transform his diet towards a ‘wholefoods’ diet, full of ‘real’, unprocessed and natural foods. Following the birth of his daughter he was inspired to write a book to help her understand the concept of ‘real’ food, and encourage her to make healthy food choices.
