This dish has quickly become a family favourite. I found this spice combination in a beautiful Middle Eastern Cookbook that a friend gave me years ago. And it worked beautifully with some grassfed lamb mince. The mint and pine nuts are a perfect addition to this dish. My whole family, even my youngest who is the fussiest, absolutely loves this dish. I hope you do too xx ... VIEW POST

Green Bolognese – Pesto pasta (GF, Grain-free option, DF option, Vegan option)
This is one of my favourite dishes - mostly because pesto is one of my absolute favourite foods. It wasn't always a dish my two younger children enjoyed. There would be loads of groans when I served this up - I would do it anyway because it's one of my favourites and then just use all of my best powers of persuasion to get them to eat it. Kids do so much of their tasting with their eyes - and the result is usually 'I don't like it!' before they have even tasted it. What is it about green ... VIEW POST
Pesto (Wholefood, GAPS, Paleo, Vegan, GF, DF)
Pesto is one of my absolute favourite foods. This is such a simple and yummy recipe. I use cashew nuts because I am more likely to have some in the pantry than pine nuts which are traditionally used to make pesto. Add some extra lemon juice if you want to keep it for a while in the refrigerator (up to about a week) or keeps beautifully in the freezer for a few months. Enjoy! ... VIEW POST
Roasted Pumpkin, Cheese & Coriander Sausage Rolls (WHOLEFOOD, GF, Grain free option)
This is a re-worked Thermomix recipe that I found for Sweet potato sausage rolls. But you absolutely don't need a thermomix to make these. You could easily use a food processor to combine all of the ingredients in the filling. Or you could just grate the cheeses and mix by hand if thats all you have. It is super yummy. My two girls loved it, my son wasn't so keen to begin with but I got him across the line by saying "It's just like pumpkin soup in a sausage roll"!! Bahaha I used a ... VIEW POST

I have tried lots of paleo-GAPS pizza doughs over the years and this is simplest one by far. It can can be prepared in one bowl in a matter of minutes - which makes for a quick and easy meal that my children absolutely love. And it is easy on sensitive tummies so is great for those on specialised healing diets like Paleo, GAPS or Keto. ... VIEW POST
Thai Beef Larb (GAPS, Paleo, Keto, GF, DF)
This is my version of Pete Evans Beef Larb from his book 'Easy Keto Dinners'. As Pete says in his book...."Although larb (or larp) has its origins in Laos, it is one of the main dishes you come across when travelling from village to village in neighbouring Thailand". It is traditionally eaten as a salad using mince meat or seafood. I served this warm on a bed of iceberg lettuce and loaded with fresh herbs (mint and ... VIEW POST
